Burl keeps his answers as short as a winter day.
No charge. Every coin is free, and the road has no in-app purchases.
No. Winter Road Lantern neither offers nor promotes real-money gambling, and no haul off the ice carries real-world value.
No. Not one thing on the road is for sale.
Not for Black Ice Mile: it opens for everyone, with nothing to fill in. Dogteam Portage and Freeze-Up Express need a free account, which takes a nickname, an email address, a password and a tick confirming you are 19 or over. No card form exists anywhere on the road.
So your coins, level and missions are waiting at the depot when your next shift starts, and so Burl can confirm you are 19 or over before you spin.
No. Each game runs in the browser you already have, no different from checking the road report.
Yes. One balance, one level and one list of daily missions cover all three stretches, Black Ice Mile and its open lane included.
Open your account page and press Delete my account. Burl strikes out your nickname, email address and password hash at once, and a struck line cannot be written back.
Adults of 19 or over, and Burl turns back everyone younger.
Yes. Each spin draws an independent random position on every reel, and no earlier spin leaves tracks for a later one to follow.
Log in again and your account balance comes back down the road. Coins are entered against your logbook line, not against the browser.
No. You could drive every lane and never pass a gambling advert, an operator or an affiliate link.
Winter Road Lantern is for adults aged 19 or over. The coins stacked on Burl’s depot counter carry no monetary value, and not one of them can be bought, sold, withdrawn or exchanged. From the depot stove to the far-shore lantern there is no coin shop and no payment page, no prize of real-world value hangs from any lamp pole, and success here does not imply future success at real-money gambling.
